This page explains what we collect on botanicaessentia.com before the shop opens, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you choose to leave it so we can tell you when the collection opens. We also record the date, the page you signed up from, your browser type and the country your connection came from, so we can tell real sign-ups from automated ones.
- Anything you send to hello@botanicaessentia.com, so we can reply.
- Standard server records. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, briefly logs connection details such as IP address and the page requested in order to run and protect the site.
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics scripts on this site, and we set no cookies of our own.
How we use it
- To send a small number of emails about the opening of the collection and the launch event.
- To answer your enquiries.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, stores the sign-up list and routes our email. Email we send to you may go through Google Workspace. Each acts on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep your address until you ask us to remove it. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. If you never hear from us because the collection does not open, we will delete the list within a year.
Your choices
You can ask at any time to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to hello@botanicaessentia.com and we will act within 30 days. California residents have these rights under California law and may exercise them the same way; we do not sell personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
When the shop opens this policy will be replaced by a fuller one covering orders, payment and delivery. The effective date at the top will change when it does.
